Article 4-1
Section 1 Unification :
To unify all freight forwarders in the country through the promotion of co-operation and understanding among members.
Section 2 Representation :
To protect and represent the interests of members at the national And international levels.
Section 3 Service standards :
To improve the quality and standards of services of members through information and data exchange, documentary simplification systems and organizational development and internationalization.
Section 4 Ethics :
To establish, maintain and promote ethical standards within the profession.
Section 5 Arbitration :
To arbitrate in the settlement of disputes and difficulties arising between members.
Section 6 Element of Growth :
To foster the and awareness of freight forwarding through appropriate publications and promotions.
Section 7 Public Relations :
To foster and improve relations with shippers, carriers, governmental bodies and other related and interested parties.
Section 8 Training :
To provide for vocational training at the national level. |
Article 5 - 1 POLITICS :
The Federation shall refrain from any partisan political activities.
Article 5 - 2
Neither the Federation nor its members shall attempt to engage in any Trade Union activities as defined in the Trade Union Ordinance 1959.
Article 5 - 3 RELIGION :
The Federation shall refrain from secretarian or religious activities.
Article 5 - 4 RACE :
The Federation shall refrain from communal activities.
Article 5 - 5 GAMBLING :
No games or competition which are unlawful under the laws of Malaysia shall be introduced in whatsoever way into the premises of the Federation.
Article 5 - 6 LEGAL LIABILITY :
The Funds of the Federation shall not be applied in whatsoever way in the payment of any penalty imposed on any member Council member, Council member, Board member, Committee member, Association personnel or agent by a Court of Law.
Article 5 - 7 MINIMUM AGE :
No person (S) under the age of eighteen (18) can be admitted as an Accredited Representative to the Federation.
Article 5 - 8 UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE STUDENT :
No University or College student shall be admitted as an Accredited Representative of the Federation unless he has obtained written consent from the Vice - Chancellor of the University or the principal of the college concerned.
